Wooden pieces are made in India. Sheesham is a Indian wood fairly dark brown, Rosewood is also very dark brown with a red tint. Don't hesitate to ask more info when you order.

To go with the pieces we have picked very reasonably priced boards. These boards are not marquetry but use a new photo process very convincing. The word Loupe means an impression of gnarled wood .
